Portable 12V appliances are a useful addition for camping or tailgating. There have been a many 12 volt equipment recently. You can find anything but the kitchen sink with a 12 volt plugin. A plethora of 12 Volt equipment are available too, if you have the room to store it. The energy-efficient 12-volt equipment are also popular in solar homes and for use with backup power sources, such as traditional generators and portable solar power systems. For we now live in an electronic world, and almost everything we use other than vacuum cleaners and kitchen equipment are now running on DC Of course there is no standard of wall wart; every computer, lamp, radio or LCD TV has a different size and voltage. These 12-volt equipment are great for truckers, when traveling, or boating. However, 12 volt equipment are much easier to locate than 24 volt units. There is no question that this equipment are becoming attractive because of the price/performance and functionality they contain. Finally, 12v items are simpler to use because their makers have taken their best guess as to what features you really need, most of the time, on projects up to a certain complexity and then omitted bells and whistles that you might use infrequently, rarely or never. Small 12v items are usually fairly simple machines. Repairs to these 12v items are usually correspondingly simple. Small kitchen 12v items are most often counter top ones.
